Our #honeyhangover is finally wearing off, but we're still basking in the warm, golden glow of #NYCHoneyFest! We can still taste the delicious lemon bars that @whiskmeawaycakes brought! The 2016 NYC Honey Week concluded today with an awesome urban ecology bike tour led by our friends at @turnstiletours! After visiting the nyc native pollinator landscape at the site of the former naval cemetery, they popped up to @brooklyngrange for a quick honey tasting and then headed over to @kingscountydistillery for some honey whisky! BIG Thank you to all of the busy bees that helped make honey week 2016 possible. #honeylove #🐝 #nychoneyweek
And that's a wrap, people! @mizzbeehavinapiary took runner up with their delicious, dark fall honey, and @brooklyn_queen_honey, shown here with generous prize donors @best_bees, won first place in this year's Boardwalk honey tasting contest!
